Where technology meets compassion.
A CSR-eligible foundation working across rural and underserved Gujarat — bringing digital literacy, modern agriculture, and dignified care for people with autism and special needs to communities the future has overlooked.
Fifty kilometres on the map. Two hundred years in opportunity.
The Krishna Rungta Social Impact Foundation (KRSIF) was founded in 2021 with a simple, unsettling realisation. Drive 50 kilometres outside Ahmedabad, and the world changes. The roads thin out, the connectivity disappears, and life looks the way it might have looked two centuries ago.
The same children who could be coding, learning, and dreaming of cities they’ve never seen are instead boxed in by circumstance — by a lack of books, a lack of devices, a lack of someone who simply showed up. That gap is what KRSIF exists to close.
Founded by Krishna Rungta, the founder of Guru99, the world’s largest free online tutorial platform, KRSIF channels the same belief that built Guru99: that knowledge should be a right, not a privilege.
Knowledge should be a right, not a privilege — for the child fifty kilometres away just as much as for the child fifty seconds away.
— Founding belief
The people behind KRSIF
Builders by trade, humanitarians by calling — the team that translates the foundation’s vision into work on the ground.

Krishna Rungta
FounderKrishna is the founder of Guru99, the world’s largest free online tutorial platform, used by tens of millions of learners across the globe. After spending two decades making technical education free and accessible online, he started KRSIF to bring that same access — to tools, to learning, to dignity — to communities offline.

Vidhi Rungta
Chief Operating OfficerVidhi leads operations at KRSIF, translating the foundation’s vision into the day-to-day work of partnerships, programmes, and on-the-ground delivery. Under her watch, KRSIF has reached families, schools, and communities across Gujarat.
Three missions. One goal.
We’re not a foundation that tries to do everything. We’ve chosen three areas where we believe focused, technology-enabled effort can change lives at scale.
Digital Literacy
We donate computers, smartphones, and digital learning kits — paired with training — so the next generation grows up with the internet, not behind it.
AI in Agriculture
KRSIF builds bridges between cutting-edge agricultural AI tools and the smallholder farmers who need them most.
Autism & Special Needs
KRSIF funds specialised education, therapy, and trained support staff so children with special needs and their families get the care they deserve.
Our work on the ground
Our three missions sit at the centre of everything we do. But supporting a community well sometimes means responding to whatever that community most needs.
Computer & Device Donations
Computers, laptops, and mobile phones donated to schools, ashram shalas, and individuals.
Special Education for Autism
Trained special educators and therapy programmes for children with autism.
Books & Educational Materials
Textbooks for primary schools and learning kits for rural ashram schools.
Food & Essentials
Regular distribution of food, grocery kits, and basic essentials through partners.
Healthcare & Medical Aid
From individual healthcare assistance to backing concessional-rate hospitals.
Senior Citizen Care
Ongoing food and care programmes for senior citizens through old-age home partners.
Women’s Empowerment
Livelihood, healthcare, and self-reliance initiatives led by women on the ground.
Rural Development
Books, gifts, and infrastructure for rural primary schools across Gujarat.
The impact, in numbers
Every figure here represents real people, real classrooms, real families across the districts of Gujarat we serve.
The partners we stand behind
Real change rarely happens through a single foundation. It happens when we back the people already doing the work in their own communities.
Arya Foundation
Hunger relief and rural development.
Shefali Enterprise
Book donations to schools in Limdi.
Kailash Dham Ashram Shala
Books, Diwali gifts, and computer donations for ashram-based students.

Special Education Trainers
Funded specialised education delivered by trained educators and therapists. Our gratitude to the trainers and partners.
